The Black Diaspora
How did we lose our connection with each other? Many definitions can define the black experience. One could describe it as struggle or hardship. Or as being a part of a great brother/sisterhood of unspoken understanding & connection. Our situation and struggles may very, but our mission is the same. Our goal is to redefine our lives and the world perceptions of us. If everything has an opposite, think about the current state of the black person. Now focus on the exact opposite of that situation. We are showcasing black people from around the world talking about their experiences being a part of the black diaspora.

How are we changing people’s perspective about the black experience? We are doing this by traveling getting to know people. Giving people the opportunity to have meaningful dialogue with us. We are changing the narrative by changing people perspective of us. The world has been forced to believe a preconception of who and what we represent. Through the connections we make, we are changing people mindsets.
