Life Is Nothing Without Love

Life is nothing without love, and if you think you can survive without it you’re lying to yourself. It is the most wonderful thing ever.

In our life time we experience different kinds of love from the different people in our lives. Like the love of a mother,and a father. The love of your sister and brothers,and the love of your friends.

The greatest love of all is god, and he made us to love and to be loved. I try to keep a positive open mind when I take an interest in someone.

This is my story. About two years ago I decided to go back to school to get my masters degree. I was a little older than most of the students. Well twenty-seven is not that bad.

I was still young and attracted. No kids yet, and didn’t need any man to take care of me. In the past I felt like I was the man in the relationship.

Those days are long gone. I was hoping that the next man I meet would be the total opposite. And their he was. I’m sitting in class waiting for the professor to arrive. Professor John Knight walked in from the back of the room and headed to the desk.

He took a piece of chalk and wrote on the blackboard. It read welcome students my name is John Knight. Then he turned around and all at once every female mouths dropped.

He had the looks of a model the body of a athlete. We already know he is intelligent, a professor the total package.

It is stated in the universities handbook that if behavior of an inappropriate nature between students and teachers was zero tolerance.

I was doing extremely well in college. The only thing was that I could not stop thinking about my professor. In his class all I could think about was making mad passionate love to this man.

I studied a lot, more than the average student. When they partied I studied. I had already lived that life. I just wanted to stay focused.

On the weekend when everyone partied I studied. I was in the library very late doing research on a paper. I was always in there alone.

This night I had company. It was my professor. He saw me sitting with the pile of books everywhere. He walked over to me and asked me If I had eaten today.

I said well professor are you asking me out on a date. He said you know I cant do that, but are you hungry.
We went to a nice little place outside of town. We didn’t want people to think the wrong thing. It was the best night I had in a very long time.

He told me if I ever needed help to call him. He was such a gentleman. I was wondering if he felt any way about me.

I call him one night. I am thinking I need to know if this is the man of my dreams. He told me that he had never met anyone as determined as me, or as beautiful.

Two months later we got married. I know that’s crazy. That was almost forty years ago and we are still going strong.

We are not meant to alone. Life is nothing without love. If you are blessed with a good person that totally loves you, give them that same love, and more back.
